**How 10 Enrollments Turns Into 10,000 Enrollments!**

People ask me all the time how someone can possibly get tens of thousands of reps in a network without contacting tens (or hundreds) of thousands of prospects. I admit it does seem illogical at first. But here’s why I’m super-busy with just a small number (a few hundred) of my own warm contacts.

**0 = Number of enrollments under me**

If I have 1000 contacts personally, maybe only 20% of them are actively looking for a side income or a new business:

- 1000 x 0.20 = 200.
- If I then prospect 200 people effectively, quickly, urgently, out of those 200, what’s a fair number to expect to enroll?
- If you’ve got a great product AND you convey your excitement about it, then 10% or 20% isn’t unrealistic.
- But let’s say you only get 5%: 200 x 0.05 = 10.

**10 = Now I’ve got 10 frontliners (on my first level) enrolled**

Here’s where the math gets fun and easy:

- My new 10 also know 1000 prospects each: 10 x 1000 = 10,000. That’s 10,000 prospects, not enrollments, of course.
- Using the same math above, maybe only 20% of them are actively looking for a side income or a new business: 10,000 x 0.20 = 2000.
- If I then prospect 2000 people effectively, quickly, urgently, out of those 2000, what’s a fair number to expect to enroll?
- If you’ve got a great product AND you convey your excitement about it, then 10% or 20% isn’t unrealistic.
- But let’s say you only get 5%: 2000 x 0.05 = 100.

**100 = There are 100 under my 10 …**

We’re just sheer duplicating now:

- I’ve got 100 enrolled, and those 100 also know 1000 prospects each. 100 x 1000 = 100,000. (That’s 100,000 prospects, not enrollments, of course.)
- Using the same math above, maybe only 20% of them are actively looking for a side income or a new business: 100,000 x 0.20 = 20,000.
- If I then prospect 20,000 people effectively, quickly, urgently, out of those 20,000, what’s a fair number to expect to enroll?
- If you’ve got a great product AND you convey your excitement about it, then 10% or 20% isn’t unrealistic.
- But let’s say you only get 5%: 20,000 x 0.05 = 1000.

**1,000 = My 100 got 10 each …**

At this point, you don’t even have to duplicate – just show people your revenue (and they can figure out the resulting income from that), and you know the 1000 will go get 10 each:

- 1000 x 10 = 10,000!

**10,000 = The 1000 got 10 each!

**It all starts with you getting 10**. And that starts with **you getting 1**. And that starts with **you dialing the fone**.

This isn’t rocket science, but it is counter-intuitive, and it does require hard work. It’s simple, but it requires effort. Anything worthwhile takes effort!

Tell me again why I need to run ads or do crazy online marketing? 🙂 Yes, it’s smart to do those things AFTER you’ve talked to your warm market, but **if you can’t get people you know to join you in a business, how are you going to get strangers?**
